Google ads - how are they for you?

Hi,

All of us are seeing the Google ads go up all over the Internet. Anyone
else using it? I'm hoping it causes other big companies to do the same
thing. We put it up and it made a *lot* less than our other advertisers,
but I think its a step in the right direction. Only thing I don't like
about Google's text ads is you can't improve the clickthru rate with a
better banner/soundbite - I've always counted on being able to do that in
order to get the number to 3-7%..

While I'm at it, School Sucks and The Daily Dose are both up since '96 and
100% ad-based. Not many of us are living off of ads since then and still
doing it!
