Re: Putting all your money on search engine keywords?

JP,

Search Engine Marketing definitely gives you more qualified leads, and a
better ROI than regular banners. It all depends on if you only want to
market to people who are already aware of a need for your product, or if
you want to market in order to create a need for your product. The one
downside of SEM is that you never talk to anyone who isn't already
searching for a solution.

I really think that a combination of both is necessary to effectively
market products. You can't expect to get the same results from a banner
as you do from keywords, but display advertising is important for
branding and creating a need where it wouldn't necessarily be before.
