Online panel

Hi everyone,
I have a quick question for you. We, at the department of advertising at
UT Austin are in the process of building an online panel for academic
research

What do you think would be the best way to build this panel? Would you
suggest putting up an ad link on google? Or going the affiliate program
route a better option? If so, any good sites that you would recommend?

Any other suggestions?
