Metrics on effectiveness of cross-site promotion?

We're working on revamping a number of our web sites. Since an individual
may hit any of our sites (all related to email marketing and communication)
and be unaware of other services we offer, I was considering included ads
referring people to related services and products offered at our other
sites. (I'm referring to graphical ads.)

I've been trying to find stats about the effectiveness of doing this, but
haven't had any luck.

Any OA readers familiar with research in this area?

Thanks in advance!
