I talk to as many as I can about all of the above and
almost all of them agree (vendors as well) that there are
no accurate numbers. This is not an exact science. It
is a game of differences (between this period and last
period) and trends.

Take a look at the RedEye report at
http://www.redeye.com/case_data.html?nolnktyp=newsbox
(requires free registration). They compared logfile data
and cookie data with login data. Scary.
