I have found the only way to really find out what is going on with email
delivery is TESTING, TESTING, TESTING.

Depending upon your total subscriber size, I would start to do simply A/B
testing on each email you send out. If you only send monthly then you may
actually want to start with four versions.
        1) Test different subject lines
        2) Test different domains (if applicable)
        3) Test different delivery mechanisms (use other companies such
as topica.com to send emails vs. home-grown)
        4) Test content (I know this sounds odd ... but if you use FREE,
NOW, and other spam unfriendly words you may want to rethink your
strategy).
