Have you gotten any feedback on the potential advertisers
that you have approached? If they say "no" always ask
"Why not?" and adjust your offer accordingly.
It could be that you're approaching companies that don't
do Internet marketing, or they think the prices are too high,
or maybe they buy on a CPC instead of CPM basis or they
don't have sufficient staff or an advanced Internet presence to
warrant advertising.
Your best bet for finding advertisers for your network is by
seeing what companies are advertising on other sites that
you don't represent. You can then approach them and say:
"I noticed you're advertising on RomanianCarsForSale.com .
I represent a site called CarsForSaleinRomania.com which
reaches half a million unique visitors per month. Would you
be interested in reviewing the media kit for it?"
You can also try benchmarking your own prices against those
of other sites... call them up, request media kits and see how
they talk to you and what they say.
