Being in sales, I wish I got leads to just follow-up on and help close
then my life will be wonderful. I look for oppty and then try to close
it, my thoughts on the later are:

In order to get one meeting you make approximately 40 calls
In order to get 1 oppty, you have 10 meetings.
In order to close 1 deal, you work 1 opportunities.

This is just my analysis based on experience in new business sales for
5+ years. Following these numbers has worked for me, but it does not
mean it will or will not work for you. You need to have your own mix
and it develops over time.
