Re: Email List Manager for 100K+ Emails
What about letting Yahoo Groups run the service for you?
I'm not sure if they'll run it for 100k subscribers because
most of the groups on there have a few hundred but I can't readily
see whether they have an upper limit.
If they'll take that number, and if you don't mind a few of
their ads, then you might get your list for free.
I think that they may limit you to the amount of data you
transfer per month but it seems that it might cost only $5 for
an extra 500 meg, if I'm reading it correctly.

Gregg Carlson asked about a low cost email list manager for 100K+ emails:
Gregg, I'm not sure there is a GOOD solution out there in the price range
you are looking for. The best service with the lowest cost I have found is
IntellicontactPro at http://www.intellicontactpro.com. I use them for all
my newsletters and find the service excellent. Believe me I shopped long
and hard before settling on them. Another deciding factor for me was
since they are still only around 1 year old, they are not on a bunch of black
lists like many of the older, very popular solutions out there, so my
newsletters get through.
They only charge based on the number in your list, not based on how many
emails you send. With your volume of 100,000 it works out to a savings of
more than half of what Lyris and others charge. Hope that helps and best
of luck!
