position. They are seeking an in-house employee only --
they will not accept consultants, contractors, telecommuters,
or non-U.S. residents who do not already have the necessary
visa to work in the United States. The company does offer

Job Description:

Director of Email Delivery & ISP/Portal Relations is
responsible for ensuring optimal delivery for all
direct E-Mail marketing campaigns. This includes
establishing and maintaining ISP/Portal relations,
developing and implementing data analytics related
to Email Delivery, resolving Email filtering and
blocking issues, and ensuring best practices in
Email Marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Utilize contacts to establish strategic, high-level
White-Listing relationships with global ISP and Portals
and develop frameworks to support and advance these
relationships and our ability to communicate with our
customers

Analyze email distribution data to assess delivery
metrics, problems and issues

Identify and resolve email deliverability problems such
as filtering and blocking

Develop policies for subscriber acquisition, list
hygiene, and creative design to maximize email
deliverability

Monitors ongoing email marketing legislation to assure
company policies remain in compliance

Requirements:

Bachelors degree and at least 2 years of direct email
marketing experience

Substantial and impressive track record of successful
establishment and maintenance of White-Listing
relationships with global ISP and Portals for Email
Delivery

Knowledge of policies and procedures related to email
delivery issues with major ISPs and Portals

Solid understanding of technical issues related to email
delivery and filtering
