I read all these claims about what Google spiders and what they
don't too and it's been my experience that THEY WILL INDEED
spider pages with a query string. One of the sites I operate is a
directory with many categories. I have one ".shtml" page that
has a "server-side-include" right in the center of it that feeds in
dynamic content (based on the query string) at the server end
before it ever gets to the visitors browser. The url looks
something like: http://www.domain.com?cat=Hobbies,Fishing
and bless their rich little hearts, Google spiders my entire
directory. It's probably wise to keep the query string short, but
using one doesn't seem to be a problem.
