Google, along with most of the other major engine spiders
can handle a variety of pages beyond html including .pdf
files, Word, Excel and Flash files. They also can handle
dynamic pages. However, some query strings including those
with session ids can still cause problems.

Start with unique focused content. If ranking in the engines
is important. Rewrite the query string at the server level
to remove '?", '#' and such. How you rewrite the query
string depends on your server. You can search "mod-rewrite"
for more specifics.
