Thanks for your response!

As for unique content, the reason I think it's so important is that in
an auction site, there will be thousands of seperated pages. If people
look for a used bike for example, they will enter "buy used bike" or
something like that in a search engine, and ofcourse the idea is that my
site will be in the results.

And well, of course I can rewrite the query string... but the question
is, what is supposed to be a query string ? Will this for example be
seen by google as a page with a query string:

http://foo.bar/page.php/wombat

?

If not, that would really make the structuring of the site a lot easier,
since everything can be done by page.php .
