I faced similar dilemma when I was launching my site. Major search engines,
namely Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves will spider your dynamic .php pages with
query strings, however page rankings will (probably) be higher if your site
consists of static .html pages. If you're using Apache web server take a
look at mod_rewrite which lets you "convert" query strings into what appears
as static .html pages.
