Economics of selling ads on a retail web site

I have been reading this letter just about everyday for the past few
years.
and now I pose a question.

I have a webalog and have been up since 1998.

retail -- www.alltherageonline.com/v40/front.tpl

and a

wholesale -- wholesale.alltherageonline.com

we are one of the only companies out there who are represented in both
venues of distribution.

we also have a cash and carry storefront/ showroom room in Midtown
NYC,

enough of the background.

My question lies in the advertising .

On our retail website we are avg. about 950 uniques a day, without
ANY advertising expenditure on our part.
: )

and I was wondering , at what amount of unique visitors a day can one
start to charge for advertising on My site.

any input would be greatly appreciated
