You're REALLY missing something here. Their lawyer has nothing to do
with it. It's the terms of the agreement that dictate what you can
and cannot do.

That having been said, the shortest route to internet suicide is
formally announcing that you MAY sell information, which is
tantamount to announcing that you WILL be selling information.

That should kill your business pretty fast.

Be smart. Take the traffic and DON'T sell any information to anyone.
It's much more valuable to keep it to yourself and let others pay you
to send stuff to members who have opted in to your list.

We're looking to launch into a new field in our Internet marketing
quest which is offering Internet traffic. We want to offer our clients
guaranteed targeted traffic and reporting information for online
ad campaigns.

Where could I get quality "wholesale" targeted traffic? We recently
have been in touch with the best in the industry (i.e. doubleclick,
valueclick, burst, 24/7 media) and their minimuim campaigns
start $20000-$50000 per. These are great goals, but just starting
out maybe be a hard sell.

Any suggestions?
