Right off, let me assure you that a Privacy Policy is mandated by law. The
federal CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 mandates it. California came afterwards and
enacted a very ominous act that also mandates it and proscribes necessary
content. Many states have enacted relevant legislation. The wild and wooly
days of the internet, for good or bad, are over.
