Despite some of the marketing articles you're reading online, SEO is not
difficult. In fact, it's very easy. Many SEO gurus wants you to believe
that you can NOT live without them. It's similar to a marketing gimmick
that many auto mechanics have been using for decades and somehow it
transistion to the Internet. Create fear in the hearts of the uneducated
and you win yourself a client. You're a marketing pioneer and that is
why you are not afraid to venture into the unknow world of the Internet.

Nowadays, you too can achieved a good position in Google or Yahoo by
simply completing a few simple steps.

Basically, both Google and Yahoo uses backlinks to rank websites that
have been indexed by their Internet robots. Many other elements are
factored into the whole equation, but quality backlinks are the dominate
force in determining how they rank your site.

Simply contact other websites that compliments your products or services
and ask them to link to you. When you asked for a text link, make sure
the text links contain your targeted keywords. For example, if you're
targeting "fishing nets", make sure the text link points to your webpage
with the words "fishing nets" in it. SEO is work in progress and you
should continue to complete this process even if you're already reached
the #1 position. Within a few short months, you should be able to guage
how well you do in Google and Yahoo.

Finally, you should only outsource your SEO project if you can not do it
yourself or you do not have the time to experiment. And be prepared to
pay for this SEO services as if you're hiring a temporary employee. Good
luck!
