Re: Online Marketing Conferences
I've just made a big update to our Internet Marketing
Conference Calendar, adding nearly a dozen new events
for this year:

It really depends on what your objectives are in attending.
If your objective is to network with industry players, make
deals, form alliances, take the pulse of the industry, and
check out offerings, then I'd say AD:TECH is the place to
be. The next AD:TECH is in San Francisco this April,

I won't be speaking at the April AD:TECH, but I probably
will be at the one in Chicago in July.
If the objective is more focused on learning how to be
an Internet marketer, then the Internet Marketing Conferences
seemed to be a very good forum when I last spoke and keynoted
at one in Vancouver. The next one is in Montreal this
March.

If you want to focus on eMetrics... learning how people
are measuring the productivity of their online efforts,
then Jim Sterne's eMetrics Summit each June in Santa
Barbara and London is absolutely first class, both in
terms of learning opportunities, networking, and locale.

As Anita mentioned, the Search Engine Strategies
conferences have a very good reputation for search
marketing. The next one is in New York at the end of
February.

The eTail conferences seem to have grown steadily over the
past few years. The next one is coming up in just a few
days in Palm Springs.

The iMedia Brand Summits have also developed a good
reputation. The next one starts this Sunday in
Florida.
