Having worked for a few years in the SEO / SEM industry I can tell you
that you will want to do your homework before investing heavily with a
company that will execute your SEO strategy. A good SEO consultant is
really an analyst. You want someone who will work with you to develop
keyword and content strategy. In addition, a good SEO company knows the
value of your web log / site statistics data.

 As for pricing, I've seen it all over the board. Size of site and
overall business goals will play a role in what you'll pay for services.
iProspect is a major player in the industry so they can demand the
asking price.

But there are many good consultants out there that can do the job and
stay within your budget.
