Re: How to reach Australia and Canada?
Regarding hot areas of Canada, Australia and how to advertise in
those markets.
IRED.Com, the International Real Estate Digest, may furnish the answers you
seek and the advertising opportunity. IRED is a well established web-site
serving the Real Estate Industry globally, it was started in 1995 and
incorporated in 1996. If you search Google using "real estate" you will
find it ranked in 3rd place (without the quotes it is found to be ranked
6th). IRED provides two type of services to the real estate industry: 1) A
set of wide directory of real estate agents/agencies (directory lists in
more than 110 countries) plus special directories and categories covering
all segments of the real estate industry; 2) IRED also publishes articles
about the real estate industry - these cover most parts of the world - the
accumulation of these articles is contained in the on-line archive.
What are the hot areas of Canada? Access IRED <http://www.ired.com> and
select the Red Navigation tab for "International Realty". In the left
column index click on Canada. A map of Canada is displayed. Below it there
is an index with the Provinces underlined followed by sections of the
province [Note: IRED reorganizes a State/Province when the directory's
List-of-Links gets too long.] You can tell which States/Provinces include
the most directory links by the number of sections included. You will
quickly find that in the West part of Canada, British Columbia and Alberta
areas the "hottest" Provinces and on the East side the hottest is
Ontario. To find the hottest sections within a Province, just look at each
List-of-Links and count the links. There is a relationship between the
number of links placed in IRED, to the number of Real Estate Agents, and
then to the number of Real Estate Transactions, which indicates the status
of the economy. The people that your client desires to reach (50+)
frequently have progressed to the "empty nest" status (children have mostly
moved out and are establishing their own homes and families.) The 50+
group can now change houses for a different life style. It is a good time
for them to search Google for information and IRED is positioned to be
found by them.
You can do the same thing for Australia.
Your second question was how to market to the hottest areas. Again IRED
can fulfill your client's needs. We can help your client advertise his
web-site in three different ways:
1. An Advertisers Text Link in a "List-of'Links" (there is a special group
allowed in each list for such advertisers.)
2. A Top of Page Banner
3. A Small Banner in the Left Column of each page.
