As I admired the brevity of his answer, I also had
to agree with him.

I understand the need marketers and advertisers have
to reach their audiences - especially in this day of
media fragmentation and consumer "control." But
I've also been using the Web for a long time and have
seen the damage done by these same folks.

I think RSS will fall victim to the same tactics as marketers
flock to this "new delivery method." And can consumer
disgust be far behind?
