"Abysmally few" outbound links? I counted 48 on the home page. I didn't
count how many went to a different domain name, but the point is it was far
from a dead end. And Google credits you with 74 incoming links that it
admits to and 847 that it has a record of. But I agree entirely that the
simpler the site the better as far as the spiders are concerned.
