Re: Marketing Sherpa Blog Awards
Hi, all --
I agree that the blog awards are a great idea, but I'm finding really
difficult to vote -- There are so many blogs nominated, and I'm not
familiar with all of them.
The fact that there isn't a "Don't know this one" option among the
ratings makes it tough and a little time consuming to vote.
The upside is that I've found a lot of great new blogs as a result of
this competition, many of which I'm sure I'll be referencing in my own
blogs. And I imagine the nominations have generated LOADS of new traffic
for the nominees, which is always good. These blogs produce fantastic,
timely content, and the fact that MarketingSherpa's 100K+ readership now
has a fairly comprehensive list of them is a boon for their authors --
and everyone else in this particular neck of the blogosphere.
And while I think there's a blog or two that have been "egregiously
overlooked" (no, I'm NOT talking about my own!) those are blogs that are
frequently linked to within the nominated blogs, so I think they'll
benefit, regardless.
Best of luck to Toby and all the nominees - although I think you've
*all* already won!
