Seeking Book Publisher/Agent for Second Edition

Greetings:

I'm cross posting this to a few lists, so
apologies if you receive it more than once...

The second, expanded edition of my book ("The
Revenge of Brand X: How to Build a Big Time
Brand on the Web or Anywhere Else" - ISBN
0967991218) is just about completed and I'm
exploring means of expanding its distribution.

The first time out, a major publisher paid a
considerable advance for the book, but bungled
the job so badly that we took back the rights and
published it ourselves. It turned out to be a
great decision, because the book sold very well.
Not Harry Potter, but not bad: for its entire
first year, it ranked in Amazon's top tenth of
one percent of all their titles.

My thinking is that since the book has proven
itself, it could go to the next level if it had a
solid/reliable publisher or agent.

At this point, I'm not looking for a PR program
or book tour. Just looking to connect with a
real player; a non-hype person who can produce.
If anyone here has had a really positive
experience with a publisher or literary agent,
and by that I mean the books weren't just listed
in the catalog and forgotten, please contact me
directly.
