Please fill out the Corporate Survey for our Nov. 7 AD:TECH Presentation
Hi Gang,
Jay Weintraub and I are once again presenting an overview of
companies in the online advertising industry at AD:TECH on November
7th, and we have created a new survey form to help us collect and
update the information we need regarding companies supporting the
industry. If you are interested in having your company included in
the presentation and/or the associated handout, you (or someone in
your organization) will need to complete the survey form at:
http://www.o-a.com/adtech-survey.html
We will need to have your completed survey submitted by no later than
close of business on Tuesday, October 30th in order to have time to
incorporate the information.
For our presentation in New York, we will likely be reducing the
number of companies that are covered in detail during the course of
the session itself, while increasing the number of companies that are
covered in the associated handout that attendees will be able to
download after the session.
After our similar presentation at AD:TECH in Chicago this past
summer, I received an email message from the CEO of one of the larger
online ad networks. The CEO wrote:
>Hi Jay and Cliff:
>
>I have just read your newsletters and combed through your exhaustive
>presentation on the digital vendor landscape that you gave at the
>Chicago Ad:Tech a month ago. I intend to print it and keep it nearby
>as a resource. It is a magnum opus.
>
>It's a nuisance to point out after all that, I know, that it would
>have been a very magnum opus had it included some mention of [my company],
>which I'm surprised did not emerge as a recognized vendor from the
>considerable list of resources you document at the end of the
>presentation.
It turned out that there were eleven members of this CEO's company
that subscribe to this Online Advertising Discussion List, but none
of them had bothered to refer the survey link to their boss when I
had posted a notice similar to this one prior to the Chicago
Conference. He was not terribly pleased with his staff for missing
something important... don't make the same mistake!
I hope all is well and look forward to seeing many of you in New York.
