Online Ads Welcomes Industry Leader SendTec

We'd like to recognize SendTec for joining the Industry Leaders
Directory on the Online Ads web site (http://www.o-a.com).

SendTec has an interesting story that began in 1996. It was
founded by Chief Executive Officer Paul Soltoff, the founder
of Saatchi & Saatchi's direct response television division.
Paul's adventures led him a few miles south to Sarasota,
Florida where he met with a small company that was generating
$3 million in annual revenues selling $5,000 medical devices
direct to consumers. Paul put their company on TV, and two
years later they were one of the top 10 fastest growing
companies in the country according the Inc magazine.

The company continued to grow exponentially over the next few
years and Paul's client list continued to grow. With the
introduction and massive growth of the Internet, the company
began to offer integrated direct marketing services to
accommodate clients' needs for clever thinking and educated
risk taking. The company began providing Internet marketing
recommendations to its clients on email marketing, banner
advertising, and other Internet marketing channels. After
seeing his attempts to make CPM-based advertising productive
for his clients fail to meet ROI objectives, he asked a simple
question to one client: "If I could guarantee the delivery of
customer at your cost per acquisition allowable, how many
would you take." The answer from the client: "As many as you
can send me." That client was Eric Obeck, SendTec's current
President.

Eric joined Paul to develop and exact upon the idea they
hatched (as client and vendor) to offer companies low-risk,
cost-efficient customer acquisition programs online. Shortly
after they began their quest to build the online offerings of
SendTec, something big happened on Wall Street: the Internet
bubble burst. Advertisers began decreasing their Internet
marketing budgets as advertising expenditures were considered
to be unproductive in brand building and delivering reasonable
response levels.

While advertising budgets declined, SendTec continued to grow
exponentially, more than doubling revenue each year for eight
successive years. SendTec has now managed over 60 exclusive
online CPA campaigns, they have generated over 1 billion in
sales for their advertiser clients, and they have generated
over 500 million online actions for their clients (not
including clicks).

SendTec maintains its headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida
and recently opened a regional office in New York City to
support growth and better service a national client base.
