         It's worse than that. A domain doesn't get blacklisted the IP
address of the mail server gets blacklisted. What this means is
that not only your domain gets blocked but any domain using the
same mailserver also gets blocked.

         You're advice is sound. One of the biggest hosting administrative
task I have is keeping on white lists. The amount of time to do this
would be about the same if someone were to run one domain on a
server.
