Researching Particular Types of Weblogs

Greetings...

I am doing some research for a client on particular types of weblogs,
and am hoping someone here can help me.

I am looking for particular examples of companies who use their
weblog to do one of the following:

* Presell a product/service that doesn't yet exist
* Promote a product/service that does exist
* Actually SELL (as in the transaction takes place right then and
there) a product through their weblog.
* Support a product or service

If you could provide specific URLs, all the better.
