The best way to become familiar with online advertising is to dive right
it. If your site is good enough to attract an advertiser, you are ready
to start adding ads from networks and affiliate programs. For example, sign
up on Amazon.com Associates (https://associates.amazon.com/) and
selectively add relevant, in-context ads for books to your site. Their progam
also gives you access to all their tips for site owners.
