Re: How to promote autoresponder service?
Erum:
Thanks for providing such a good overview of your current 'situation'.
The problem seems that you are looking at this issue from the supplier
end of the equation and not from the customer's perspective (a very
common mistake).
In order to successfully market your service more effectively make sure
you focus almost all your efforts towards communicating the benefits
your service allows for.
Demonstrate how the use of your service streamlines communications,
lowers costs, saves time and most of all delivers VALUE.
Ignore features ... pound for pound your service is not all that
different. Given that, focus on all of the things that may be achieved
through the use of your product. Let your competitors wallow in laundry
lists of features while you focus on communicating the real-life
benefits of your service.
Integrate real-life testimonials into your sales materials and develop a
series of one page Success Stories (mini application notes) that
describe how a particular business problem was solved using your
service, in exchange for a visitors e-mail address. These success
stories could also be used as the basis for an article later.
If you'd like to discuss this in greater detail (off list) drop me a line.
