  From your site, you appear to be up and running only in Houston. You
did not mention advertising on houstonchronicle.com, which would target
the geographically local audience. The Chronicle offers
clickthrough-based advertising (Quigo AdSonar). I'd be running very
specific text-based ads with a branding hook: "Golf Pine Crest at a
discount with Stubdog.com."

Newspaper sites have a "local mindset" advantage for advertising that is
a call to action in local physical space. It's not just the
geotargeting, it's about context.
