Isn't that what Netscape said when Microsoft introduced Explorer?
Isn't that what Yahoo said when Google first hit the scene?

While I see what you're saying in your post, Simon, this is really a
story about the differences between what we
internet/technology/marketing people know and what Wall Street thinks
it knows.

YouTube has a built in audience today. But Netscape had a 95% market
share, too. Wordperfect had a great product and enjoyed a huge
market share - until Microsoft Word rolled over it and left it flat.

This is it, folks. The Second Internet Bubble has arrived. Just as
Google unseated Yahoo (based solely on the antipathy of an overly
complex Yahoo at the time), mark my words:

Google is riding for a big fall. But not before the Wall Street
crowd pumps it and dumps it. Just like Amazon, Covad, Qualcomm and
all the other corpses whose bones are still littering the digital
graveyards.
