I admit that I am biased in many ways in this discussion, but personally
I would be very hesitant to use an advertisement network that uses a
freely available script for their advertisement management. Other than
that, if you would have any support issues you probably are better off
with a commercial solution.
Kyle, we probably would be able to better advice you if you told us how
much you're willing to spend. You already gave the impression that you
have considered a hosted solution in the past, which means you are
willing to spend a bit of money on a good solution. what do you consider
"relatively inexpensive" ? How much traffic do you think your network
will generate ? What do you expect of the targeting technologies ?
.. and there could be a ton more questions to be asked. But for now. it
just is hard to give a good advice based on the information you provided.
