eBay is looking for a Director, Graphical Advertising.

They are seeking an in-house employee only -- they are not
looking for consultants, contractors, telecommuters, or non-U.S.
residents who do not already have the necessary visa to work
in the United States. Please reply only if you are in the
San Jose area or willing to consider relocating to that area.

The open position is as follows:

Position Title: Director, Graphical Advertising, eBay
Position Location: San Jose, California

Lead eBay's graphical advertising partnership with Yahoo including
operational management and contract ownership

Manage rapid P&L growth to (we hope) $50-75M in high-margin revenue

Work with eBay site(s) page owners and the advertising product team to
deploy graphical advertising on the site in a personalized way that
improves user experience and drives business results

Support and educate the Yahoo graphical sales force about our audience
and product

Develop an integrated operating model between the Yahoo sales force and
eBay to sell and support integrated partnerships. This will require
coordination of a broad team including marketing partners and
promotions, product, legal and finance

Work with the advertising analytics team to identify, understand and
predict where, why and how graphical advertising enhances user
experience

Work with global colleagues as a thought leader on graphical advertising
outside the US

Lead and mentor three direct reports

Key evangelist within eBay for a fast growing graphical ad business and
a high-profile partnership

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA preferred
10+ years of relevant experience
Experience managing a $10Ms P&L
Ability to manage a partner and deal with conflict
Ability to get a lot done working with all levels of the combined Yahoo
and eBay team
Strategic thinker
Excitement about sales and sales people
Knowledge of the eBay site and business
Thrive on challenge and driving change
High energy, positive outlook
Team player
Prefer knowledge of advertising
