Hello Jens,

Paypal do have their eccentricies, don't they?

We're using an acquirer called http://www.protx.com and so far, they've
been great. They have a cheap flat-rate for small volumes of card
transactions and are responsive when we have problems. Other merchants I
know are using:

http://www.worldpay.com
http://www.netbanx.com
http://www.securetrading.co.uk

Hope that helps and good luck.

Oh, and if you come across someone at Paypal that can help (we've never
made it beyond automated help and templated responses), do let me know.

Toodle Pip

Sam
