Top priority: create a web page about your mailing list, and submit that web
page for inclusion in all the search engines (start with www.submit-it.com
and then one of the "Top 100" submission sites). People can't search for a
mailing list using search tools, which makes the list hard to find.
Creating a web page on AOL or CompuServe is cheap and easy (though I'd
recommend finding a more stable home and paying for a custom domain name to
insure portability), and I think it expands your options better than
anything else.
