Initially I had used Postmaster service which costs $ 500 to do it once.
However it took 2 months before Webcrawler had included our site (was it
because of the Postmaster service? I doubt it) and just 2 weeks later our
listing had disapeard again.

It seems that some much hyped search engine provide a rather unreliable
service to the public and hence I would not pay $ 500 again to submit our
URLs. If you just visit 5 search engines a day you reach 35 in one week
and can submit to them for free by yourselves.

And there are not much more than that which are used by the majority of
Internet users.
