NONE: Clickthrus and *targeted* marketing
Clickthrus and *targeted* marketing

Very interesting discussion(s) for the last few weeks concerning hits,
clickthrus, etc.
The ultimate question (or so it seems to me) is how to "get to" one's
audience. Any ideas on co-operative deals, commissioned sales (take my
product on your site and sell it for X%, and other
promotional/cross-promotional concepts.
As one person wrote (sorry I looked for your name, but trashed the message)
a couple hundred search engine registrations is ridiculous. The 12-15
major ones are sufficient. I know the stuff about, press releases, URL's
on letterhead, biz cards, etc. etc. Lurking and eventually writing to
newsgroups w/ "meaningful" URLs too. Paying for banners or exchanging
seems fairly straight-forward. So, there must be more...or as the song
goes "Is that all there is?" I imagine not. So, back to the Question:
What *else* group?!
Patiently awaiting insight,
Tony Glassman
P.S. Personally, I have an upscale product (apologize for trite term) and a
more "web-ready", younger skewed product.
