I have Known this to be true:
In order to promote my Business sites I have had to create another page with
special links and then placed my business links on that page. The hits on my
business page increased by a factor of 10 , even though the Free sites Link
page I created is just links to other places, I have had more hits on thet
page than all my other pages put together.
Yes the best way is to promote a page whick has an interesting topic and
then to link to the page you want to promote.
