We are building a site which will provide very targeted slots for
advertising. It is a new angle (which I cannot reveal until the site is live).
I was thinking of setting up a page to allow public bids for advertising so
that any comer can bid for however many impressions they want for any
segment they want and then we would simply simply cream off the top bidders.
I would be quite happy to let the early bidders get their impressions for
ridiculous rates since that will create a market.
Since you have already had the experience of bidding for space and have
moved on to using a company to sell on your behalf I would be interested in
your comments on this. By the way which company do you use?
Thanks for any insight into this.
