Subject: CPM clarification

Problems: $15-30 is a helleva range! Bigger consideration is (in addition)
how focused is the publication, newstand, home delivery, business delivery,
weekly, daily, seasonal considerations, etc.

Doesn't print also depend on the size of the ad, where it is placed, color
or black and white?

Yes and yes and yes. What would be the average price of a full page color
ad in a top magazine, in the middle of the magazine vs inside the front
cover?

All different...and nobody really knows whether front inside cover, back
cover, center section, double-truck, or inside cover fold-out (probably the
best, but most expensive) is *the best*.....

>This is confusing to me so I would appreciate any information about print
>advertising costs.

I'll let any media buyers go further on the subject. Just don't let anyone
take you too far from what commonsense would dictate, Beth. Moreover,
without a strategy to follow and some keen, persuasive tactic to move you
forward, a one or two-time display ad is better handed over to the
Salvation Army.
