Introduction.......

My name is Mark Barbanell.I live on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.I'm
interested in marketing and have some experience in it.

Access BC Marketing wrote

Now that it is becoming increasingly common to require that users pay
to access quality content at WWW sites, the question about ad rates
at these ............snip

What's your name Author sir?

Seems to me that the rules and formulas for internet success have yet to be
written..........

If numbers count

Then the theory is

more hits = more exposure = more money right?

Well doesn't success really mean different things to different people?

All the millions of hits don't really6 mean as much as a few quality "hits"
to some people.

Who would you rather be?

Someone with with 100 hits on your page that maybe 10% would be sales

or

Someone that got 50 quality "hits" with 50% sales

What kind of hits are we talking about.......

Skip throughs (Surfing through but not stopping )

or

serious buyers(people who stop in and consider what you have to offer)

It's getting pretty commercial.

I wonder what all the older professors and military men think about the
shape of the internet these days..........?

Just some thoughts to ponder.
