Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't one of the phone companies
doing exactly what is being talked about? Now, I am not saying that
the Internet is as defined an Industry as the phone system but it is
a gimmik that seems to do well. Simply because I remembered the
gimmick. Also, isn't there a National Debt Ticker somewhere in N.Y.?
How defined is that?
I understood the original post to be more of a request for a
Tidbit of interesting info. Not a marketing gimmick. Nobody
knows what the growth rate is right now. However if people were to start
doing something like this and compare their numbers to that of
Nielsen, or whoever else does the periodic published figures, we
might be able to determine a more accurate rate of growth.
