tracking ksite referrals and advertsing

I wonder whether anyone on this list can help me. My ISP does not store
the locations last visited in his site log (presumably to save processing
and disc). So I cannot use one of several programs that analyse this. I
need to be able to track where my response is coming from if I am going
to advertise widely. I know I canset up multiple entry pages etc. but I
need a cleaner mechanism. Do any of you know of a CGI that extracts this
information and stores it for later analysis? If so please copy info
directly to me since I have just changed my Email address to
leo_at_netcomuk.co.uk and it will take a few days to re-organise all my
lists.
