Thanks for the information on Germany! We can use it since we have begun
building a page that incorporates
search engines and banner add sites from around the world as part of one of
our Global
Strategies programs.

Other than our (slightly outdated) Japanese sites page
www.globalstrategies.com/jpnsites.html information about Japan and the
Internet/search engines can be found at http://www.panix.com/~tn/j-list.html
both have references to Japanese
search engines. There are about 20 decent lists and search engines.

Most of the Japanese search engines are Japanese language descriptions only.
They require the information to entered
in Japanese from Japanese forms. We have been listing our customers on them
for about 8 months. Finaly about 6 months ago
it clicked that we could offer this as a service.

Once we complete our faq about Japanese search engines and the list of
Japanese sites that accept paid and exchange
banner adds I will let you know.
