"....Technology leaders and theirimmediate followers on the 'Net are
spending too much time worrying about drek issues. Read what the early
adopters are worrying themselves about: hits, visits, clicks, banners,
click-through, and other such nonsense. The late arrivers are ignoring such
techie bs, and paying attention to serving
the customer, providing appropriate content to the customer, delivering
products and services better to the customer.

Ouch!...But, you're right on, Henry.
I've been into this group for a while and while I *do* enjoy it, some of
our topics are getting pretty stale, so can we widen the scope and give
some subjects a breather?
Staying with the parameters, I would suggest (on behalf of business and
commerce) exploring: (1) "If search engines provide a way to FIND things
for people...then (2) Marketing on-line goes out and GRABS people and
BRINGS them in! This is what most are looking to do. If there's any real
expertise and imagination here, let's *discuss the ways* this
can/should/does occur).
As always, the simplest, most direct things, are the hardest to approach,
the toughest to focus.
