This is a very good point, which I don't remember anyone bringing up before
(at least not since I've been on this list.)

Now. what I often do when i see an ad that interests me, is click-through,
do a quick look to see if the site really intersts me, bookmark it, and
then return to the original site. But if I really get interested in the new
site, I might not go back to the first site, at least not then. Ofcourse,
the same thing can happen with regular links out.

But it is a situation that other media don't have. Most people don't jump
up from their TV or their newspaper and run out the door to go shopping
because of an ad they just saw. (They might pick up the phone to respond to
a TV offer, but they usually keep on watching the program.)
