This was discussed at some length several months ago on Inet-
Marketing. Part of the problem is the lack of a definition of "web
site" or "web server". A contributing factor is that many places
you see a number that has no foundation to support it. I tracked
down every report I saw back then for what I considered inflated
figures. Noone could ever substantiate them; they either thought
they saw it at 'so and so site' (where I couldn't find it) or
they just couldn't remember the source.
