May I also ask if people would be kind enough to quote URLs in
full - including the leading 'http://' ? Some email readers (e.g.
Netscape, Emissary) recognise full URLs and make them into live links so
all the user has to do is point and click, rather than cut and paste.
[Note from moderator: If your URL is in parentheses or trailed by
punctuation, it is very helpful to put <>'s around the URL rather than ()s,
as the latter confuses many programs. --Cliff]
BTW, did you know you can just type the middle part of the
domain name into Netscape and it will often find the full domain name?
e.g. 'stars' is enough to get my home page. I think it assumes 'www.'
and '.com' so, e.g. 'w3' doesn't get the W3C.
